In combat aircraft, this need to communicate is made quite crucial due to high temporal pressure and workload during critical phases of the flight (ingress, engagement, deployment of self-defense). 8 AR-P.MARETags : Technology Weapon systems Integrated systems Design Safety Navigation Propulsion Aircraft Helicopters Missiles UAV Index. décimale : 363.124 Risques dans les transports : Transports aérien et spatial Résumé : Major trends in technology, weapon system performance goals and affordability for aerospace systems are occuring simultaneously. For avionic systems this performance and affordability can be achieved by functional and physical integration. "Functionally" integrated systems to achieve higher performance has been greatly aided by advances in computer technology. The desire to minimize cost for these systems has been accomplished throught a "physical" integration concept based upon common modules tied through a "physical" concept, called integrated avionics, has been used on new aircraft such as the US Air Force F22 fighter and the Boeing 777 commercial transport.
